If you have any trouble seeing your UVI products in Pro Tools, please first read the article My UVI Product Does not Show up in my DAW.
If required, you may reset the AAX plug-ins cache for a full plug-in rescan at Pro Tools relaunch:
Resetting the Pro Tools AAX cache on macOS
- Quit Pro Tools.
- In the Finder, press ⇧⌘G, or choose Go > Go to Folder in the menu bar.
- Copy-paste the following path, then hit Enter:
~/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools/ - Locate and manually delete the InstalledAAXPlugIns file.
- Relaunch Pro Tools to start a full plug-in rescan.
Resetting the Pro Tools AAX cache on Windows
- Quit Pro Tools.
- In the Windows Explorer, go to:
C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools\ - Locate and manually delete the InstalledAAXPlugIns file.
- Relaunch Pro Tools to start a full plug-in rescan.
