Licenses & Activations
We use the PACE licensing system, which provides a secure platform for UVI products and an easy way to transport licenses to our users without the physical restrictions and delays associated with challenge-response systems. Every product registered on your uvi.net account generates a license that is sent to your iLok account (User ID) and can be activated on up to 3 locations concurrently (any combination of machines or/and iLok dongles) via iLok License Manager. iLok keys are not required, though they are small, easy to transport and cross-platform, allowing you to use your software on any supported system and move conveniently from location to location or machine to machine.
