Our core instrument environment has a new name
UVI Workstation becomes UVI Player. We chose it to reflect exactly what the software does: providing an effortless place to open, explore, and play all your UVI instruments. While the name has changed, the reliability remains, and the experience continues to improve.
What's new?
- a redesigned browser with unified styling across Library, FX, and Multi views
- a new Single/Multi toggle with Save as Default Multi
- an improved mixer with mute/solo and VU metering
- and now plays all Falcon Expansions
What you can play
An open catalog of instruments
Step into a massive collection of sounds crafted by passionate artists and sound designers. Explore vintage synths with Vintage Vault 5, play pianos and keyboards with Key Suite, or build cinematic atmospheres with Augmented Orchestra. UVI Player welcomes everything from drums and percussion to sound design and foley, bringing orchestras, choirs, world instruments, and toys into one space. Alongside our own libraries, you can load UVI-Powered instruments from our partners, ensuring a vast variety of tools are always ready for your projects.
Falcon Expansions in UVI Player
For the first time, you can experience our flagship instrument's capabilities directly in UVI Player. Every Falcon Expansion now loads and plays exactly as designed. Experience the immersive interfaces, powerful macro controls, and hand-crafted presets of each collection. UVI Player provides a direct path to discover Falcon's sound, letting you perform with complex textures immediately. When you are ready to go further, the same Expansion opens directly in Falcon.
Inside the player
Your first 50 sounds
Every download comes with something to play. UVI Starter gives you 50 hand-crafted presets across a wide range of styles, each one a glimpse of what Falcon can do. Start with what you know, or explore styles you’ve never tried.
Uncompromising focus
Loading an instrument brings up its own dedicated interface, ready to be played and explored. Finding the right sounds is fast, with a modern browser built around preset tags, text search, favorites, and instant audio previews. Go deeper by layering instruments, adding effects, and setting chords in motion with the built-in arpeggiator, whether you play standalone or in any modern DAW.
Already using UVI Workstation?
Nothing changes for your existing UVI instruments, and no action is required.
The core product remains the same under its clearer name, while every Falcon Expansion can now be played alongside the rest of your instruments.
