Error: Patch Verification Failed in UVI Portal

Problem

When installing a patch update for a soundware product through UVI Portal, the following error message may appear:

"UVI Portal: Could not install the following product: [ProductName] (Patch verification failed: [PatchFileName] was built for base [NumberA] but the installed base is [NumberB])"

Solution

To resolve this issue, uninstall the affected product from your system and then perform a fresh, complete reinstallation:

  1. In UVI Portal, uninstall the product by clicking the Bin icon.
  2. Make sure to select the correct Install Folder in the Preferences.
  3. Reinstall the product by clicking the Install button.
