Error Message: "Import DLL libsndfile-1.dll cannot be loaded" [Windows] [English]

Problem

The following error message appears when launching the VST or VST3 version of UVI Workstation on Windows:

"UVI Workstation could not be loaded. Please contact the software publisher for support using this software. Error details: Import DLL libsndfile-1.dll cannot be loaded."

Solution

Another audio plug-in on your system is probably using an old version of the libsndfile-1.dll file. In this case, here are the steps to solve this issue:

1. Locate and manually delete the following DLL files on your system:
   C:\Windows\System32\libsndfile-1.dll
   C:\Windows\SysWOW64\libsndfile-1.dll
2. Uninstall then reinstall UVI Workstation via UVI Portal
