Here are a couple of suggestions to troubleshoot this issue:
- Restart the computer.
- Make sure that your iLok USB dongle is properly plugged into your computer (avoid non-powered USB hubs) and that it is consistently lit (not blinking).
- Try to unplug then plug the dongle back to your computer.
- Download and (re)install the latest iLok License Manager from the iLok website:
https://www.ilok.com/#!license-manager - If the dongle is recognized in iLok License Manager, try to deactivate then reactivate the license:
- In iLok License Manager, locate and click on your iLok dongle in the left side bar.
- Locate and right-click the license, then select 'Deactivate'.
- Go to the 'Available' tab (or go to 'Available Licenses' via the menu 'Views').
- Locate your license then drag it to your machine or any local iLok in the left-hand sidebar (or right-click the license, then select 'Activate' and choose your iLok dongle).
- If the dongle is recognized in iLok License Manager, try to sync and repair it:
- In iLok License Manager, locate your iLok dongle in the left side bar.
- Right-click it then select 'Synchronize' and wait until the procedure ends.
If you feel your iLok dongle is not working properly, please contact iLok and submit an RMA here.
If the problem persists, please contact our Technical Support and provide them with your iLok User ID and the serial number of your dongle, which can be found via Show Details in iLok License Manager as shown in the screenshots below.
