We do allow license transfers between users, with certain exceptions stated below.
The license needs to be over 90 days old before this can be transferred to another iLok account.
Requests must be made using the Transfer License feature in iLok License Manager and are subject to a $25 fee per-license ($50 maximum fee per-transfer) by PACE.
Since the target iLok account (i.e. User ID) will be asked during this process, it must be an account that is currently activated. You can find more information on the iLok website.
After being validated manually, the product’s serial number will be placed in the new owner’s My Products page if they are already registered at uvi.net. If the new owner does not already have a UVI account, he/she will need to create one and Contact Us with his/her details.
- NFR (Not For Resale) licenses cannot be transferred
- Backup licenses must be transferred with Full licenses
- Single licenses cannot be transferred after upgrading to a newer product or a bundle
