I am Asked to Enter an Activation Code When Launching a UVI Instrument or Effect, What to do?

A notification may show up when launching a UVI Instrument or Effect, stating that an "Activation is required" to use the product.

Note that UVI products do not support activation codes to redeem licenses since a license is deposited directly to your iLok account when registering a product with its serial number.

Here are the steps to follow to activate the license in such a scenario:

1. Click Activate.
2. Discard the activation code entry by clicking No.
3. Enter your iLok User ID and password then click Next.
4. Select the available license to activate then click Next.
5. Select a location (machine or iLok dongle) then click Next.
6. Once the message "Successful Activation" appears, click Continue.
