My DAW Crashes When Loading UVI Workstation or Falcon on Windows

Problem

Your DAW instantly crashes while attempting to instantiate UVI Workstation or Falcon.

Cause

Two different versions of UVI Workstation or Falcon VST/VST3 may be present in your plug-in folders.

Solution

  1. Check your plug-in folders for duplicate files:

    • UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll and UVIWorkstation.vst3, or

    • FalconVSTx64.dll and Falcon.vst3

  2. Delete any duplicates you find.

  3. Reinstall UVI Workstation or Falcon using the UVI Portal to ensure a clean setup.
