UVI Portal automatically checks the integrity of any installed UVI soundbanks at first launch, or after any product update or new installation.
Note that you can check manually the integrity of a soundbank via the product information in UVI Portal.
You can still verify the integrity of your UVI and 3rd party soundbanks directly in UVI Workstation or Falcon:
Launch UVI Workstation then follow these steps to check if your soundbank is valid:
- Open the Browser by clicking the folder icon
- Right-click the related soundbank under the Soundbanks tab
- Select Verify soundbank integrity
You should get the following message: "Your soundbank is valid" – if not, please delete the corrupted file and download the latest version via UVI Portal.

Launch Falcon then follow these steps to check if your soundbank is valid:
- Double-click the word Empty in the Parts list to open the Browser
- Right-click the related soundbank under the Soundbanks tab
- Select Verify soundbank integrity
You should get the following message: "Your soundbank is valid" –if not, please delete the corrupted file and download the latest version via UVI Portal.
